The Chicago Artists Coalition is looking for a highly motivated Manager of the Chicago Artists Resource (CAR). The Manager will work with the CAC’s Executive Director and Digital Director to maintain CAR as a dynamic online platform at the forefront of artists’ professional development. 

The ideal candidate will have meaningful web and content management experience. She/he will work with two interns providing editorial and general support. CAR, one of the CAC’s core programs, is a dynamic online platform that educates and connects Chicago’s diverse artistic community, including individual artists as well as arts organizations. 

The comprehensive site functions as a jobs board, virtual classroom, event listing, space finder, and online magazine featuring articles, interviews, and multimedia highlighting important people and trends in Chicago’s arts community. The site attracts more than 45,000 unique visitors each month.
