Closed Sessions inks deal with House Arrest
Closed Sessions, an independent Chicago-based record label co-founded by Business and Entrepreneurship Assistant Professor of Instruction Alex Fruchter, recently signed a new distribution deal with House Arrest, the distribution wing of Fat Possum Records.
According to a joint statement given to Billboard by Alex and his Closed Sessions co-founder, Mike Kolar, “Joining House Arrest gives us a distribution partner that will not only get our music into stores and online retailers, but can also mentor us in how to grow and scale our company. We are able to pick the brains of people with experience, passion and success in independent music. They understand how to work with us because they started from the same place.”
