December 14, 2015, Chicago Inno published a story about five Columbia College Chicago student entrepreneurs. Lecturer Jaime (Black) DeMedici had a part in promoting the four Business & Entrepreneurship students featured: Audrey Sutherland, Miranda Gardley, Shamis McGillin, and Marcus Carter.

“With an eclectic range of students and majors, such as Arts Management and Comedy Writing, Columbia is changing the way we define entrepreneurs and startups,” Jaime boasted.
