We all know how hard freshmen year of college can be.  It’s the first stride toward independence.  This is the first time you’re on your own, making your own decisions and moving toward a higher education.

Lucky for us, the Business & Entrepreneurship department has a Learning Community just for freshman.  This community allows freshman students to grow with their peers.  All freshman students experience the Learning Community environment in their first semester by taking two core courses together as a cohort.

One of the Learning Communities planned and executed a college-wide freshmen talent showcase called You Year.  On Tuesday, December 2^nd at the Haus, the 2^nd annual You Year event rocked the Haus down with a record 139 people in attendance.  All this during finals week!
