Mary Mazurek will read from her artist book Memories of my Father: A Trip to

the Train Yard as part of Reading Artist’s Books Saturday February 13,

10:00-3:00 at the Joan Flasch Collection at the school of the Art Institute

37 S. Wabash Room 508. Mary is to present at 12:15pm. Memories of My Father

is a storybook where the artist remembers her father by retracing their

steps through image, text and sound. The text will be read to a projection

of the photography contained in the book, as well as video clips of the

train yard and an audio soundscape.
