The Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department proudly congratulates alumnus Paul Deziel ’14, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Technical Theatre program, who won the 2020 Joseph Jefferson Award — Chicago’s top theatre award — for his Projection Design for Jackalope Theatre’s P.Y.G. or The Mis-Edumacation of Dorian Belle. The 47th Annual Jeff Awards for Non-Equity theatres were announced Monday, June 22. Deziel was also nominated in the Projection Design category for his design for Lifeline Theatre’s Middle Passage.
Deziel previously won a Jeff Award in 2019 for his Projection Design for Sideshow Theatre Company’s Tilikum.
