Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department faculty members Joe Janes and Ric Walker, both teachers in the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Comedy Writing and Performance, are featured in the new comedy show The Greatest Theatrical Event . . . EVER! July 7 through 21.

Co-written by Janes and Walker, this world premiere is directed by Theatre Department faculty member Andrea J. Dymond. It’s described as “a hysterical historical tribute to The 100th Anniversary of The Grand Carlysle Theater!” Tickets are $10 general admission, with a student discount price of $8. Performances take place at the Second City, Chicago’s internationally acclaimed comedy theatre and training center, in the Blackout Cabaret, located at 230 W.
