Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum David Stobbe ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, and Theatre Department faculty member Scott Olson are in the cast of Bury Me, a world premiere from Dandelion Theatre, running July 6 through 28 at Rivendell Theatre, located at 5779 N. Ridge in Chicago’s Edgewater/Andersonville Theatre District.

Stobbe plays Josh, whose wife Michelle is pregnant. When the couple travel to Josh’s rural Missouri hometown to visit his family — including his ailing stepfather, played by Olson — life-and-death questions quickly move from the philosophical to the practical.
