Alumni and former faculty of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department are in the cast and creative team for Metropolis Performing Arts Centre‘s new production of the landmark musical A Chorus Line, running September 20 through November 3.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning show about the lives of Broadway dancers features alumni Madelyne Forrester ’18, Hannah Griffith ’17, and Mollyanne Nunn ’14, all graduates of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance; Dan Hamman ’14 and Joseph Kuchey ’13, graduates of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre; and Conor McGarry ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting.
Christie Kerr, a former Musical Theatre Dance instructor in the Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre Program, is the show’s choreographer; her assistant choreographer is alumnus Isaiah Silvia-Chandley ’18, a graduate of the Musical Theatre Performance BFA program.
