Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alums Chris Zdenek ’07 and Ian Tranberg ’07 — both graduates of the Theatre Department’s Acting program — are collaborating on Direct My Woyzeck, running February 7-21 as part of the Rhinoceros Theatre Festival, Chicago’s longest-running fringe theatre festival. This reimagined, participatory production of Georg Buchner’s classic drama Woyzeck is created and stage managed by Zdenek, and Tranberg is a member of the five-person cast. Audience members are invited to direct and design a scene from the play — one of five scenes that the actors have memorized. Shows are Wednesdays at 7 PM.
