Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alums and faculty members are on the production team of That Must Be the Entrance to Heaven, presented by Visión Latino Theatre Company as part of Destinos 2023, the 6th Chicago Latino Theatre Festival, a city-wide celebration of Latinx theatre. The midwest premiere of That Must Be the Entrance to Heaven runs October 14 through November 5 at UrbanTheater, located at 2620 W. Division in Chicago’s Humboldt Park community. The show’s scenic designer is Columbia College alum Shayna Patel ’22 and the technical director is Columbia College alum Line Bower ’22. Both are graduates of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design and Technology.
