Alumni of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department are planning to create a Theatre Department Advisory Board, with the intent of launching the new organization in January of 2024. Columbia College Theatre alums are invited to email email@example.com for more information on this new initiative. And for more information on Theatre Alumni activities, click here.
The new volunteer organization is co-chaired by Columbia College alums Victor Holstein ’04, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, and Alex Rhyan ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre with a concentration in Stage Management. Holstein, an actor, and Rhyan, a production manager, are working with Theatre Department faculty members Susan Padveen, Frances Maggio, and Paul Amandes and Columbia College alum Dirk Matthews ’02, who is Senior Director of Alumni Relations at Columbia College Chicago.
“As a valued member of the Columbia College Chicago alumni community and with your passion for the performing arts, you have always been a source of inspiration for the department,” said Rhyan and Holstein in an email sent to Columbia College Theatre alums at the end of September. “That’s why today, we are reaching out to INVITE YOU TO JOIN US! We will play a pivotal role in guiding the college’s initiatives, fostering connections between alumni and industry professionals, and providing valuable insights to enhance the overall experience for current and future students.”
