Columbia College Chicago Theatre and Music Alums Bring ‘The Innocence of Seduction’ to City Lit Theatre Aug. 25-Oct. 8

Alumni of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department and Columbia College Chicago Music Department are on the creative team of The Innocence of Seduction, a new play running August 25 through October 8 at City Lit Theatre, located at 1020 W. Bryn Mawr in Chicago’s Edgewater Theatre District. For tickets, click here.

This world premiere, based on true events, explores the 1950s Congressional investigation into supposed links between comic books and juvenile delinquency, and the effect of the investigation on the careers of several comic-book publishers and artists.

Alison Dornheggen

The show’s violence and intimacy designer is Columbia College alum Alison Dornheggen ’01, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting.

Petter Wahlbäck

And Columbia College Music Department alum and faculty member Petter Wahlbäck ’00, MFA ’08, a graduate of the Music Department’s BA Program in Music Composition and MFA Program in Music Composition for the Screen, is the sound designer and music composer for the production.
