Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alums and faculty members are in the cast and production team of the family musical Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, running July 14 through August 20 at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, located on Navy Pier at 800 E. The show’s performing company includes Columbia College alum Halle Bins ’18, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, and former Theatre Department student Aalon Smith.

The production team includes Columbia College alums Milo Bue ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design, and Jerry Galante ’96, as well as Theatre Department faculty member Susan Gosdick and former Theatre Department faculty member Mike Tutaj. They are the show’s associate scenic designer, fight choreographer, dialect coach, and projection designer respectively.
