Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Evan Frank ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design, is the scenic designer for Oak Park Festival Theatre’s production of William Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, running July 13 through August 19 in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park.

The show marks Frank’s first time working with Oak Park Festival Theatre, one of the Chicago area’s leading professional companies specializing in outdoor productions of classic theatre. In addition to his BA in Theatre Design from Columbia College, Frank has earned his MFA in Scenic Design from Carnegie Mellon University in 2023.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is performed outdoors in Austin Gardens, located at 167 Forest in downtown Oak Park. For tickets, click here.
