Columbia College Chicago alums and faculty are in the cast and creative team of Porchlight Music Theatre‘s New Faces Sing Broadway 1951, a revue of songs from classic shows that ran on Broadway in 1951, including Guys and Dolls, The King and I, Paint Your Wagon, and others.
The cast includes Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Jerod Turner ’22, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, and Columbia College Chicago Business and Entrepreneurship Department alum Daryn Alexus ’12, a graduate of the Business and Entrepreneurship Department’s Music Business Management BA program. The show is directed by Columbia College Theatre Department faculty member David Fiorello.
New Faces Sing Broadway 1951 takes place Monday, January 23, at 7:30 PM at Evanston SPACE, located at 1245 Chicago Ave. in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, and on Tuesday, January 24, at 7:30 PM at the Arts Club of Chicago, located at 201 E.
