Lifeline Theatre presents Miss Holmes Returns, a mystery comedy written by former Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department student Christopher M. Walsh, a Lifeline ensemble member. The play — inspired by the works of writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of fictional detective Sherlock Holmes — runs August 26 through October 16 at Lifeline, which is located at 6912 N. Walsh’s update of Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories finds Miss Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Dorothy Watson investigating a murder. Dr. Watson is played by Columbia College alum Mandy Walsh ’99, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting. Former Columbia College Theatre Department Acting program student Barry Irving is an understudy. Lifeline’s artistic director is Columbia College alum Ilesa Duncan ’99.
