Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alums are in the cast and production team of Porchlight Music Theatre‘s New Faces Sing Broadway 1971, playing Monday and Wednesday, Aug. 1 and 3, at 7:30 PM both nights.
The cast of this revue — which features songs from Broadway shows of 1971, including Follies, Jesus Christ Superstar, and others — includes Columbia College alum Maddison Denault ’20, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, along with current student Kelcy Taylor.
And Columbia College alum Alex Rhyan ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre with a concentration in Stage Management, is Porchlight’s production and operations director.
The August 1 performance takes place at SPACE, located at 1245 Chicago Ave. in the Chicago suburb of Evanston. The August 3 show takes place at the Center on Halsted, located at 3656 N. Halsted in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. For tickets, click here.
