Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department faculty member Kendra Thulin is featured in the U.S. premiere of Light Falls, by British playwright Simon Stephens. Presented by Steep Theatre, the show opens July 8 and runs through August 14 at Theater Wit, located at 1229 W. Belmont in Chicago’s Belmont Theatre District. For tickets, click here.

Thulin, a Steep Theatre company member,  won a Joseph Jefferson Award — Chicago’s top theatrical prize — for her performance in Steep’s 2010 American premiere of Stephens’ Harper Regan. In Light Falls, she plays a woman recounting the exact moment of her own death. The play is described as “a haunting tale of resilience, hope, and the impossibly strong bonds of family.”
