Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni are in the cast and creative/production team of It’s a Wonderful Life: Live in Chicago!, American Blues Theatre‘s annual holiday show. The production runs November 26 through December 31 at Victory Gardens Theatre, 2433 N. Lincoln, Chicago.

Grant Sabin

Performed in the manner of a live 1940s radio broadcast, the production — based on the beloved Frank Capra film — features Foley sound effects executed in full view of the audience by Columbia College alum Shawn Goudie ’04, an actor and Foley Artist. And Columbia alum Grant Sabin ’05, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Design program, is the show’s scenic designer. Gowdie and Sabin are both Artistic Affiliates of American Blues Theatre.
