Columbia College Chicago Theatre Alum’s Play Featured in New Works Virtual Festival on Dec. 23

Congratulations to Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Kevin Wiczer ’05, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting. Wiczer’s new play A Man with No Opinion will be performed in a live-streamed reading on Wednesday, December 23, at 7 PM Central Time (8 PM Eastern Time, 5 PM Pacific Time) by a stellar cast that includes Golden Globe winner, Oscar nominee, and two-time Tony Award nominee Kathleen Turner. The performance is part of the New Works Virtual Festival, a month-long online showcase of new plays presented as a benefit for The Actors Fund.

A Man with No Opinion is a farce set in the 1950s about a secretary who meets the man of her dreams but struggles to overcome the meddling of his manipulative mother (Turner). Also in the cast are Tony Award nominee Daniel Jenkins and Emmy Award nominee Christy Carlson Romano, as well as Krystina Alabado, Alan H. Green, Tyce Green, and Richard White.
