Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and former students are in the cast and production team of the Midwest premiere of Thirst, running January 9 through February 15 at Chicago’s Strawdog Theatre.
Tamarus Harvell, a former student in the Theatre Department’s Acting program, is a cast member in the drama, about a family struggling to survive in the wake of a devastating water shortage and war. And the show’s production team includes Columbia College alums Evan Frank ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design (scenic design); Sam Hubbard ’12, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Acting (intimacy and violence design); and Will Pettway (assistant director), a senior in the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program. Columbia College Theatre Department faculty member Andrea J. Dymond is the show’s director. Thirst runs January 9 through February 15 at 1802 W. Berenice, in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood.
