Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department student Caitlin Dobbins, a senior in the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, is in the cast of Kokandy Productions’ Chicago premiere of the bold new musical comedy Head Over Heels, running July 1 through August 25 at Theatre Wit, located at 1229 W. Belmont in Chicago’s Belmont Theatre District. Featuring songs by The Go-Go’s, Head Over Heels is based on The Arcadia by Sir Phillip Sidney, with an original book by Jeff Whitty adapted by James Magruder. A hilarious, exuberant celebration of love, Head Over Heels follows the escapades of a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction – only to discover the key to their realm’s survival lies within each of their own hearts.
