Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Aaron Lockman ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, presents The Gallery of Obsessive Crushes – A Solo Show for two performances only — Tuesday, February 5, and Thursday, February 7 — at the Playground Theatre, 3209 N. Have you ever wished there were a mathematical scale on which you could chart love? Have you ever wished for a TED talk about roommate-specific sexual fantasies? The Gallery of Obsessive Crushes is an hour-long solo performance piece, written and performed by Aaron Lockman, in which the names are fake but the drama is real. Watch your favorite confused bisexual Jew lay bare the spicy details of his love life (all in an extremely well-organized Powerpoint) to answer the question — is “puttering” the sexiest word in the English language?
The show is directed by Columbia College alum David Gallo ’18, also a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Acting BA program.
