Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Rinska Carrasco-Prestinary ’10, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre, is directing De Troya, a drama by Caridad Svich that runs May 16 through June 30. Presented by the Halcyon Theatre, the drama concerns two families who wrestle with rebellion, regret, and loss of faith.
The show’s violence and intimacy choreographer, Sasha Smith, is a former Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department student. And Columbia College alumnus Jeffrey Levin ’10, a graduate of the Columbia College Chicago Music Department‘s BA Program in Music with a Composition Concentration, designed the sound and composed original music for the production.
