Columbia College Chicago alumnus Jonathan Goldthwaite ’12, a graduate of the college’s Performing Arts Management BA program who also studied in the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department, is directing Through the Veil, described as “a multi-sensory Easter experience” that combines storytelling, live music, and visual art to reverently retell the Easter story. “With only the words of ancient, sacred Scripture as the script, you will encounter the teaching, miracles, death, and resurrection of Jesus as you never have before—just in time for the Easter holiday,” says a publicity statement for the original production. Zachary Gipson, a former student in the Theatre Department’s Theatre Design program, is the show’s set designer.
Through the Veil runs March 28-31 at the Greenhouse Theatre Center, 2257 N. Lincoln, Chicago. For tickets, call 773-404-7336 or click here.
