Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni are in the cast and on the design team of Strawdog Theatre Company‘s closing production of the 2016-17 season — The Night Season, running May 12-June 24 at the Factory Theatre, 1623 W. Howard, in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood. Columbia College alum Mike Mroch ’11, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program, is the show’s scenic designer, and alum Claire Chrzan ’11, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Design program, is the show’s lighting designer. The cast includes Columbia alum Justine C. Turner Smith ’02, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, as well as Michaela Petro, a former student in the Theatre Department’s Acting program.
