The Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department continues its 2016-2017 mainstage season with the hit musical Little Shop of Horrors, running March 8-18 in the Sheldon Patinkin Theatre of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Center, located at 72 E. 11th St., in Chicago’s South Loop.
Directed by faculty member David Woolley, coordinator of the Theatre Department’s Stage Combat Minor, this production of the Alan Menken-Howard Ashman musical — about a Skid Row florist who cultivates a man-eating plant from outer space — has choreography by faculty member Amy Uhl, a coordinator of the Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre BA and Musical Theatre Performance BFA programs, and musical direction by faculty member Andra Velis Simon.
