‘Bare: A Pop Opera’ Features Columbia College Chicago Student and Alumni Talent Oct. 7-Nov. 6

The company of Refuge Theatre Project‘s production of bare: a pop opera, running October 7-November 6, includes Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department students Alanna Lovely, a student in the Comedy Writing and Performance BA program, and Natalie Savoy and Jonathan Parker Jackson, both students in the Musical Theatre Performance BFA program, as well as Columbia alum Jennifer Ledesma ’16, a graduate of the Musical Theatre BA program. The show, which follows a group of gay and straight teenagers at a private co-educational Roman Catholic boarding school, runs at Epworth United Methodist Church, located at 5253 N.
