Pulse Theatre Company Chicago, a company founded and led by Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni, presents George C. Wolfe’s satire of African-American stereotypes, The Colored Museum, September 23-October 23 at ETA Creative Arts Foundation, 7558 S. South Chicago, on Chicago’s South Side.
The production is co-directed by Aaron Mitchell Reese ’12, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing Program and co-founder and artistic director of Pulse Theatre Company Chicago.
The cast includes Jelani West ’12, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting.
The production’s set and lighting designers are Pablo Ponce ’13 and Flora Montes ’15 respectively, both graduates of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design.
Pulse Theatre’s producing artistic director is Columbia alum Christopher Jackson ’14, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance.
