Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department faculty and alumni talent are featured in the House Theatre of Chicago‘s 2016-17 season opener, A Comedical Tragedy for Mister Punch. Inspired by the classic tradition of Punch and Judy puppet theatre, the production runs September 2-October 23 at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division, Chicago. The ensemble includes Theatre Department faculty member and college advisor Will Casey.

The show features choreography by David Woolley, coordinator of the Theatre Department’s Stage Combat Minor; alumnus Jon Beal (BA ’11), a graduate of the Columbia College Theatre Department’s Acting BA program, is assistant choreographer. Former Theatre Design program student John Kelly is the production’s master electrician. And Theatre Department faculty member Adam Goldstein is the production’s dialect coach.
