Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Michael Pogue ’06, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Acting BA program, co-stars in a new production of Amiri Baraka’s landmark drama Dutchman, presented August 26-September 25 by American Blues Theater at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln, Chicago.
Directed by former Columbia College Theatre Department faculty member Chuck Smith, the provocative 1964 one-act concerns a fateful encounter between a young African-American man and a young white woman on a New York City subway train. In this production, Dutchman runs on a double bill with a new play, TRANSit.
