Columbia College Chicago Musical Theatre Alumni Help FWD Theatre Launch Second Season in Feb. 8 Concert

Alumni of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department‘s Musical Theatre Performance BFA Program will be featured in LaunchingFWD : Season 2, an industry concert on Monday, February 8, presented by the FWD Theatre Project, a company dedicated to the discovery, development, and delivery of new American musicals.

Among the artists participating in the event are performers Harter Clingman (BFA ’11), Courtney Mack (BFA ’15), Brittany Wolf (BFA ’15), and Allie Jae. Alex Newkirk (BFA ’11) is the evening’s musical director.

In addition, two Columbia College students–Madison Kennedy, a sophomore in the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing BFA Program, and Megan O’Toole, a senior Musical Theatre and Dance double major–are FWD Theatre Project interns specializing in social media outreach for the company.

LaunchingFWD : Season 2 takes place at the City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph, in Chicago’s West Loop. Doors open at 6 PM for cocktails and dinner, and the show starts at 7:30 PM. For tickets, call 312-733-9463 or click here.
