iDMAa conference call for entries

The International Digital Media Arts Association (iDMAa) is pleased to announce its thirteenth annual conference, this year taking place at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.

iDMAa seeks proposals for paper presentations and panels centering on this year’s conference theme, Breaking Barriers.

As digital artists, arts and media educators, and digital media professionals, we break barriers on a regular basis: breaking down traditional ideas of digital art, breaking out of well-worn creative and social roles, breaking into new careers, or breaking through the seemingly impenetrable glass ceiling.

This year, we seek to explore the barriers we encounter across the field and propose creative means for breaking through them and for moving our disciplines forward.
