Television Appearances and New CD for Sid Yiddish

Second year Interdisciplinary Media & Arts student Sid Yiddish is a new favorite on The Mancow Experience television show, having appeared 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. this morning, and then appearing tomorrow, Thursday, September 18 between 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m., as a taped appearance on Channel 50 WPWR in Chicago & radio station, The Blaze, 1530 AM.

Furthermore, Yiddish’s new holiday CD with his improvising orchestral unit, Candy Store Henchmen, has just been released by local Chicago music label, Aleatory Records. The five song E.P., Freilakkh Shtuping Freilakkh (Merry Fucking Happy) includes Christmas and Hanukkah songs, plus a brand new Henchmen composition. Yiddish’s documentary Sid Yiddish will be shown this fall on the syndicated east coast cable television program, Brodian’s Basement, produced by Stewart Brodian, in the following cable television markets: Philadelphia, PA; Fairfax, VA; Washington, D.C. & Portland, OR.
