Tenure-Track Interdisciplinary Media Arts Position: UW-Oshkosh

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Department of Art seeks tenure-track Assistant Professor of Art to contribute to newly formed Interdisciplinary Media Arts emphasis. Looking for individuals with broad intellectual and technical foundation in field of Digital and Time-Based Media who can address formal, theoretical, conceptual and technical issues related to Art and Design. Also should have broad understanding of contemporary practices in art production and contribute to Foundations curriculum. Qualifications: MFA degree required. Effective writing, communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of new developments in technology as they apply to Art and Design. Preferences: Prior college/university level experience teaching digital technologies and demonstrated ability to create, direct and collaborate on projects. Responsibilities: teaching Digital Media, Introduction to Digital Arts, and Foundations courses; advising majors; committee work; scholarly and professional activity.
