The InterArts performance and installation rooms on the second floor of 916 South Wabash will be transformed this Thursday into alternative spaces, containing the art and ideas of two InterArts graduate Students.
Valentine Vella will be presenting her third-minute performance piece K(nightly) on Thursday May 9, at 7:00 p.m. Her performance which will take place in room 207, required her to recreate the space as an immersive environment, with no distractions. “For this reason,” says Vella, “I will not allow any late-comers to enter the space once I have begun.”
Second-yera Media MFA Ahmed Hamad will be presenting his Space and Place installation at the same time on Thursday on the second floor of the 916 building. These events are free and open to the public, and visitors are welcome to come view both works.
