Lillstreet Gallery is pleased to announce its first juried exhibition of photography. Artists residing in the Midwest states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin are invited to submit work for possible inclusion. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome.
Lillstreet Gallery enhances the educational mission of Lillstreet Art Center by offering students and visitors an opportunity to explore and be inspired by the work of emerging and established artists. A portion of the proceeds from “Midwest Contemporary” benefit Lillstreet’s Digital Arts & Photography Department.
Juried by Natasha Egan and Karen Irvine
Natasha Egan is the Director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP) at Columbia College Chicago. Karen Irvine is Curator and Associate Director at the MoCP. As the leading photography museum in the Midwest, the MoCP offers students, educators, research specialists, and general audiences an intimate and comprehensive visual study center.

Submission Requirements
• up to 5 images of proposed work, JPEG format. The images must have been created within the past five years.
Framing and Shipping: All accepted work must framed in a professional manner with hanging wire (no saw tooth hangers). Work must be framed using Plexiglas, not glass, and maximum frame size is 40 inches on the longest side. Work must arrive by May 24.
Sales and Return of Unsold Work: Lillstreet Gallery will retain 50% commission on all sales. Any unsold work will be returned to the artist within three weeks of the exhibition closing date at the expense of the gallery.
