Leonardo Selvaggio and Scott Dickens, second year Media MFAs, have extended an open invitation to their presentation of a new interactive sound installation HANSEL + GRETEL on Wednesday December 5 at 6:20 p.m. The work will commence exactly on time, as it is begin presented inside the Space and Place class session, led by faculty David Greene and Miriam Schaer. The work explores the artists’ mutual interests in themes of memory, recall, and storytelling.
The performance will take place in the InterArts RAW space, on the second floor of 1104 South Wabash Avenue, right hear the Galley exhibition space. Their durational piece runs for 20 minutes, followed by a short critique and Q&A session with the artists. Additional performance, sound, and installation presentations will follow Hansel + Gretel, and are free and open to the public.
