Sacred & Profane
September 17 & 18, 2011
A weekend of art and performance, situated between heaven, purgatory, limbo, & hell…
What makes something or someone sacred? Why are some things considered profane? Can someone or something inhabit both states at the same time?
Join Columbia College Chicago Interdisciplinary Arts MFA students as they create a state of grace on earth. Explore how alternative perspectives and different points of view become platforms from which we render judgment, assign value, and dispense forgiveness. Featuring work by Krista Franklin, Elizabeth Isakson-Dado, Michelle Korte-Leccia, Jules Piscitiello, Alexa Rittichier, Chris Saclolo, Mike La Hood, & Kathi Beste.
