A closing reception will be held August 9 for the Material Assumptions exhibition at the CBPA Gallery. Along with refreshments in the gallery, visitors will be able to view two other recent installations. The center space currently features the PACE Exhibition (2011 Postcard Art Competition Exhibition), a temporary display of postcards commissioned by the Curt Teich Postcard Archive at the Lake County Discovery Museum. On the same floor in the west exhibition Galley space the current show is Maquette, an exhibition from the Mills College MFA program in Book Art and Creative Writing. Under the guidance of book artist and Mills College Associate Professor Julie Chen, the exhibition features work of Robert Borges, Kat Howard, Mirabelle Jones, and Kate Robinson.

The gallery is open all day, with the reception from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
