Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni Kelsie Huff (BA ’03), Alannah Courtney (BA ’16), and Lea Ciastko (BA ’16) are appearing in the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont, in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
Huff will appear with her all-female comedy showcase The Kates on Friday, June 17, at 9 PM. Courtney, a graduate of Columbia College’s Comedy Writing and Performance BA program, will perform her one-person “Palin’s Salute to Women of America” Sunday, June 19, at 3 PM. And Ciastko, a graduate of Columbia College’s Musical Theatre BA program, will appear as part of a program of solo stand-up comics on Sunday, June 19, at 6 PM.
Founded in 2012, the annual Chicago Women’s Funny Festival gathers female writers, performers, and comedy lovers together to celebrate all forms of comedy under one roof. The festival runs June 16-19. For tickets and more information, call 773-327-5252 or click here.
