Columbia College Chicago Theatre alum Jayae Riley Jr. ’16, a graduate of the Columbia College Theatre Program’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance with a Minor in Women & Gender Studies, is featured in the Off-Broadway world premiere of the new musical Welcome to the Big Dipper, presented by the York Theatre at the Theatre at St. Jeans, located at 150 E. 76th Street on New York City’s Upper East Side. Welcome to the Big Dipper takes place at an historic inn near Niagara Falls, where a monster blizzard forces two wildly disparate groups of travelers to shelter in place. For three days and nights, within the walls of this sprawling house, secrets are revealed, young love ignites, and lives are changed in this heartfelt new musical comedy.
