Otherworld Theatre, a company founded and led by Columbia College Chicago Theatre alumni, is showcasing its hit musical Twihard! A Twilight Musical Parody for New York audiences – and potential producers – in a special performance Tuesday, October 22, at 9:30 PM the celebrated New York City nightclub 54 Below, located at 254 W. 54th St. in midtown Manhattan’s theatre district. Twihard! A Twilight Unauthorized Parody Musical is described as “a side-splitting, fangtastic romp that hilariously reimagines the iconic Twilight saga with catchy tunes, uproarious humor, and an unforgettable twist.” As previously reported in this blog, Twihard! premiered in February 2024 at Otherworld’s Chicago location, winning rave reviews and a loyal audience following. The show has a book and lyrics by Columbia College alum Tiffany Keane Schaefer ’12, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s Theatre Directing program. Schaefer, who was also the show’s director and set, costume, and props designer, founded Otherworld Theatre in 2012 as a company dedicated to developing and producing theatrical entertainment in the science fiction and fantasy genres.

Following its 54 Below performance, Twihard! returns for an encore engagement at Otherworld Theatre, located at 3914 N. Clark, Chicago. Opening night is Halloween – Thursday, October 31. The show runs through December 8. “Pay-What-You-Can” tickets are available. For tickets, click here.
