The rock musical is co-directed and co-designed by Columbia College alum Tiffany Keane Schaefer ’12, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program, who is Otherworld’s co-founder and artistic director.

The cast includes Columbia College alums Mollie Menuck ’22, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Cinema and TV Studies, and Justin Grey McPike ’22, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance.
Adapted from the novel by Rick Riordan, the show concerns a teenager who learns he is the half-human son of a Greek god and discovers he has newly discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail.
