“The pivot that we had to do for this project has allowed all of us to really put that principle of comedy cross-training into practice,” says Libera, former artistic director of The Second City Training Center. “We devised a revue-style show using improvisation on Zoom and in a virtual collaborative writer’s room. Now we are creating a filmed version of that piece with theatrical designers and camera work from the team at Frequency TV. It has been a genuine ensemble effort.”
