Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Cody Estle ’11, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program, is directing the Chicago premiere of Five Mile Lake, running January 11-February 24 at Theatre Wit. Produced by Shattered Globe Theatre, the drama concerns five young adults trying to navigate the emotional undercurrents of unrequited love, loss, and possibility during an inadvertent winter reunion in a small Pennsylvania town – the kind of claustrophobic place that most kids grow up to leave.
