Columbia College Chicago Theatre Alums Bring ‘Gladiator Fight Night: Arcade Anarchy’ to the Stage May 14-17

The Point Theatre Project, a company founded and led by Columbia College Chicago Theatre alums, presents Gladiator Fight Night: Arcade Anarchy, an interactive theatrical experience in which iconic video game characters fight their way to glory as they battle for the title of Champion. Audiences will choose who wins, who loses, and who advances to the next round in this bracket style show, where only one can emerge victorious. Performances take place May 14 through 17 at the Edge Theater, located at 5451 N. Broadway in Chicago’s Edgewater Theatre District. For tickets, click here.

The show’s author and co-host is Columbia College Theatre alum Sadie Walton ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s BA Program in Comedy Writing and Performance.

The production is directed by Columbia alum Jen Sloan ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s Theatre Directing Program.

Columbia alum Sar Cohen ’18, a graduate of the BA Program in Acting with a Minor in Stage Combat, is the show’s costume and makeup designer. Columbia alum Brandon C. Nelson ’18, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s Acting BA program, is the lighting designer  Columbia alum Meme Matteson ’18, a graduate of the BA Program in Musical Theatre, is the fight choreographer.

Columbia alum Tristin Hall ’18, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s BA Program in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Stage Combat, is Point Theatre Project’s artistic director and a performer in the show. Columbia alum Veronica Oczowinski ’18, a graduate of the Musical Theatre BA Program, is Point Theatre Project’s managing director and a performer in the show. Columbia alum Sierra Buffum ’16, a graduate of the Acting BA Program, is the production manager.

Other cast members include Columbia alums Zimbo Gessert ’19, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s BA Program in Acting.
