Columbia College Chicago Theatre alums are participating in the 2025 Fighting Words Festival presented by the Babes with Blades Theatre Company running September 6 through 14 at the Bramble Arts Loft, located at 5545 N. Clark in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. The festival features developmental performances of three new plays, each of which will be performed twice. Tickets for all performances start at a $10 suggested price and audiences can provide feedback on the scripts following each reading. For tickets and more informaton, click here.

The festival’s performing ensemble includes Columbia College alums Brandi Jiminez Lee ’15, Deanna Palmer ’21, Tina-Kim Nguyen ’19, and Kim Fukawa ’07, all graduates of the Theatre Program’s BA Program in Acting, and Meme Matteson ’18, a graduate of the BA Program in Musical Theatre.
