Alums and faculty members of the Theatre Program at the Columbia College Chicago School of Theatre and Dance are in the cast and creative team of the Chicago-area premiere of the musical Waitress, running February 21 through March 30 at the Paramount Theatre, located at 23 E. Galena Blvd. in downtown Aurora, Illinois. For tickets, click here.
The show’s cast includes Columbia College alum Teressa LaGamba ’13, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s BA Program in Acting, and David Stobbe ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Program’s BA Program in Musical Theatre.
Columbia College alum Kailey Rockwell ’13, a graduate of the Columbia College Chicago Music Program‘s Bachelor of Music Program with a Concentration in Contemporary, Urban, and Popular Music, is the production’s associate music director and associate conductor. Columbia College Chicago School of Theatre and Dance faculty member Susan Gosdick is the show’s dialect coach. Kory Danielson, a former Columbia College Theatre Program student and staff accompanist, is the show’s music supervisor. And Paramount’s artistic director, Jim Corti, is a former teacher of Musical Theatre Dance in Columbia College’s Musical Theatre Program.
